In Ukraine, there are hundreds of thousands of stray dogs and cats. They end up on the streets due to irresponsible ownership, lack of population control, and a shortage of shelters and adoption centers. The war has significantly worsened the situation — in frontline areas, a large number of animals have been abandoned, often with no people left to care for them. Patron Pet Center was created to change that. We receive animals evacuated from frontline territories and provide everything they need to recover and thrive. This includes medical treatment, vaccination, sterilization, daily care, and rehabilitation. We also help animals regain trust in people through socialization programs that prepare them for life in a loving family. But rescue is only the first step. Through a comprehensive, multi-stage adoption process, we carefully match animals with responsible families in Ukraine and abroad, ensuring their long-term safety and well-being. Beyond the shelter, we run educational campaigns that promote responsible pet ownership and help prevent future animal abandonment. Since opening our doors, Patron Pet Center has helped more than 2,650 animals find loving homes, while nearly 300 animals currently receive care at our center as they wait for their second chance. The challenge is that the need continues to grow. More animals require rescue, treatment, and shelter than existing resources can support. Your donation helps turn rescue into a new beginning. It provides veterinary care, food, rehabilitation, and a safe place for animals recovering from the trauma of war. Most importantly, it helps them find the loving family they deserve. Together, we can ensure that every rescued animal has the opportunity not just to survive, but to live a happy and healthy life.
